Successful series introduction of a system in the ADAS area
During the development of a new system in the field of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), several projects for a German OEM ran into crisis situations. The outgoing task force leader was replaced by a less experienced project leader. This project manager had to be continuously accompanied in his challenging task and to step in where necessary. At the same time, it was important to ensure that all projects were successfully introduced into series production. In addition to the tasks of operational coaching of the employees involved (project manager, 1st management level of the team and individual managers), the task was to represent the project manager and also individual managers in regular escalation meetings in front of the customer. These escalations were conducted up to board level. All projects were successfully launched. The project manager was promoted to senior project manager during the project.
